Q. Are AllergyMama.com products really one-of-a-kind?
A. Yes! We make each custom purse and accessory to order, and ready-made bags are
one-of-a-kind, so there is no way you will get the same fabric and trim as anyone else.
This is to avoid any mix-up between your bag and someone else's.

Q. How can I be sure I will like my custom product?
A. We are sure you will love your custom product, but we also offer ready-made
products for those who prefer them. It may also help you to know that when you place
your order with AllergyMama.com, the following things will happen:

1) You will select from among several options to help us determine
the fabric style and trim style (if it applies to your item) that is right for you.
2) You will receive an email acknowledging your order and options,
to which you will reply in order to confirm your choices
3) The options you have chosen will then guide our choices in designing the
perfect bag or accessory for your needs.

Q. Who's bright idea was this?
A. When my son was diagnosed with several severe life-threatening food allergies at
the age of two and a half, my need to carry epinephrine and other medications became
immediate, but my personality didn't translate well into the world of the fanny pack.
While food allergies are no laughing matter, AllergyMama.com products are rather
whimsical in nature--a reflection of my personality and my way of coping with the
practical dilemmas of raising a severely allergic preschooler. All custom bags are
designs I have carried with success, then test-run with allergic families nationwide.

Q. Who should use AllergyMama.com products?
A. Our bags were designed to be carried by individuals who need immediate access to
EpiPens and other medication*, and are old enough to be responsible with them.
Non-allergic individuals also use our products because they are both stylish and practical.
AllergyMama.com purses and totes are a great way to encourage older allergic children
and teens to keep their medications always within reach, but only you and your child's
doctor can determine when a child is old enough for that responsibility.

Q. To what food allergy organizations does AllergyMama.com donate?
A. We donate a portion of the proceeds from each sale to the food allergy organization
of your choice. During checkout, you will be prompted to enter the name of the non-profit
organization you wish to support. You may view a list of food allergy organizations on our
Resources page, or you may enter the name and web address or other contact information
for your local support group.

Q. Can I store refrigerated items in the lower compartment of
AllergyMama.com custom bags?
A. No. The vinyl lining of our bags' lower compartments is intended to protect the bag
from stains and to offer a cushioned area to store important items. While it may
insulate the contents somewhat, the lower compartment will not keep refrigerated items
at a consistent temperature, and therefore must not be used in that capacity.
Medication should always be used, stored and handled according to the manufacturer's
instructions.

Q. How long does it take to get my custom product?
A. Your order is processed immediately, and work begins on your custom product the
following business day. Custom accessories are completed and shipped within four days
of placing your order, and custom bags are completed and shipped within 7-10 days.
Shipping timetables vary depending on the method of shipping you have chosen.
Ready-made bags and accessories ship the following business day. Rush orders are also
available at an additional charge.

Q. Is PayPal the only way to process my order online?
A. Currently, Yes. PayPal is a highly secure method of online shopping which eliminates
the need for us to process your credit card information offline, and saves you money by
eliminating transaction fees. If you already have a PayPal account, you may use it to
purchase items at AllergyMama.com. If you don't have a PayPal account, you will have
the opportunity to set up an account with PayPal during your checkout. You may set it up
with whatever credit or debit card you usually shop with, then use your PayPal account to
make purchases at thousands of online stores.

Q. May I pay by check?
A. Absolutely. You can download your order form, then send it with a check or money
order to our mailing address. If you would like to buy a ready-made item, simply contact
us via email, and we will remove that item from our gallery and ship it to you upon receipt
of your payment. "Download Order Form" tabs are located on each product page, and
also on the AllergyMama.com contact u s page.
